The ESP32-S3 with 1.28 inch touchscreen round is a versatile MCU board from Waveshare. This compact board offers many features, including a capacitive touchscreen, a Li-ion battery manager and a 6-axis sensor. With its powerful Xtensa® 32-bit LX7 dual-core processor, which can reach a frequency of up to 240MHz, this board supports both 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth® 5 (BLE). The device includes 512KB SRAM, 384KB ROM, 2MB PSRAM and an external 16MB Flash memory.
This board has a Type-C connector for easy connectivity. The built-in 1.28 inch touchscreen has a resolution of 240x240 and 65K colors. The CNC metal casing with an acrylic polished bottom plate gives the device a durable and stylish finish. The QMI8658 6-axis IMU sensor makes it possible to detect movements and gestures. Furthermore, the board has a 3.7V MX1.25 lithium battery header for charging and discharging, and 6 GPIO pins via a SH1.0 connector for flexible applications.
